Fueling Futures
Fueling Futures supports Moultonborough elementary students by collecting snacks for kids in need. Your donations provide essential nourishment, helping students focus and thrive. We need both regular and gluten-free snacks. Please bring your contributions to the Activities table. Your generosity is greatly appreciated as it helps create a caring environment for every child. All listed items are high-need and popular.

MWC Bake Sale

The MWC will once again be at the polls on NH General Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, with our bake sale benefiting the MWC Scholarship Fund. Want to bake or volunteer for a shift? Contact Marie Mayotte & Nancy Slaney! Baked goods can be delivered Monday from 1:00–3:00 PM at the Academy, or brought with you when you vote or work your shift. Please wear your MWC 75th Anniversary shirt if you have one. Thank you to everyone who helps make this fundraiser a success!

MWC Mini Hikes
Wednesday, November 4th at 10:00AM
Welcome to the new season of Mini Hiking with the MWC! We hope you will come and enjoy the beauty of New Hampshire with us! Please contact Lin Bastan to be included on the Mini Hike Mailing List to get all the information you will need about upcoming hikes! We will meet every other Wednesday until the end of March. This is a Mini Hiking Group, not a Walking group. Mini hikes of 2-3 miles, with some low elevation, roots, rocks, leaves, snow, ice, etc. We plan to hike two times a month from November to March for fun and friendship, exercise and adventure! The duration will be approximately 2 hours depending on the trail, weather conditions (think snow) and speed of the hikers.
Please, do not forget to renew or purchase your Hike Safe Card! You can go to the New Hampshire Wildlife website Hike Safe Card to renew or purchase your card.

Two new sessions of Learn to Play Mah Jong! Mahjong is having a global moment. From designer tile sets and “mahjong parties” to growing numbers of clubs and classes, the centuries-old Chinese tile game is becoming trendy once again.

Ceramics Class and Lunch

Join the ladies for a fun morning painting the ceramic piece of your choice.
Fran's Ceranics & Gifts, 12 Central Square, Bristol (40 Minute Ride from Moultonborough) Studio Fee $12 plus the cost of the piece you select. Lunch after ceramics at Cielito Mexican Restaurant, only a short 2 block walk from Fran’s Ceramics.

Moultonborough Children's Santa Fund
The Moultonborough Children’s Holiday Trust, a.k.a., the Santa Fund, is a community initiative that seeks to support local families in need during the holiday season. Last year, 59 children in Moultonborough benefited from the fund. The need is even stronger this year and we can brighten up the holidays and bring joy to our neighbors by donating toys. To bring some holiday cheer, click on the link - SANTA FUND and choose a gift (or 2) that you would like to donate. Please bring them unwrapped and labelled with the child’s code to the December meeting. If you have any questions, please contact Libby Reichlen, Janet Schurko or Joanne Wilhelm.
Cash and check donations are accepted at the library all year long. Checks should be payable to The Moultonborough Children’s Holiday Trust.
Mitten Tree Program
Meredith Village Savings Bank’s Mitten Tree Program collects handmade or store‑bought winter gear, matches each item with a $2 donation, and distributes warm essentials to local schools, nonprofits, and food programs. If you have any questions regarding MWC’s yearly participation, please contact Janet Schurko.
What to donate: New, handmade, or store‑bought mittens, hats, gloves, and scarves (no wool, please)
When & where: Drop off at the December General Meeting
Matching gift: MVSB matches every donated item with a $2 contribution to local organizations addressing childhood food insufficiency
Distribution: Collected items are given to local schools, early learning centers, and nonprofits; matching funds go to 11 regional food programs
Salsa Dance Class
Monday, November 16th from 4:00 to 6:00PM
A fun, energetic class that includes a little warm up and stretching, followed by learning basic salsa steps, a couple of partner moves and flair. We'll finish with a free dance!

Holiday Season can be a difficult time for anyone especially those who are grieving a loss. On Tuesday, December 1st at 10:00 am there will be a Grief Share get-together at Gustos in Center Harbor. Grief has no time limit. Please order your coffee and goody and meet upstairs for a private and safe surrounding to just talk.
