Chunky Knit Pillow Pouf Workshop

We had a perfect day to the Pumpkin Blossom Lavender Farm in Warner, NH. &nbsp;13 women made the 1.5 hour drive Wednesday morning. &nbsp;After getting our instructions on selecting the mature stalks of lavender we were sent out into the fields to cut a bunch of lavender where there could be up to 100 stalks to fill the 1” ring. &nbsp;The beautiful barn had a shop inside where we could purchase a wide variety of lavender infused products - edibles, for the home and for the kitchen.&nbsp; Plus there was a bar to enjoy delicious drinks and a food truck outside with lavender Everything - ice cream, shortbread cookies, bubble tea, cupcakes.&nbsp; Additional activities were available and a few of the ladies made sachets to scent their lingerie drawers.&nbsp; From the farm we went into the town of Warner for a delightful lunch at The Local, shopping at the Bookstore and touring the Telephone Museum. &nbsp;A group then scouted out and toured 3 covered bridges in the area. &nbsp;Everyone expressed what a wonderful day it was.&nbsp; Pumpkin Blossom Lavender Farm

The decorated Duck led the MWC ladies and several gentlemen along the Town of Moultonborough's parade route today. Appreciation is extended to Bob and Karen Ciardi for The Duck. Meanwhile, a notable guest in attendance was Gloria, the porch goose, alongside her owner Joelle Casey, who rivaled the Duck's popularity. Gratitude is owed to Tina Middlebrook for coordinating the MWC's remarkably patriotic ladies' event in our town's annual 4th of July parade. &nbsp;The parade is sponsored each year by the town and hosted by the Lion’s Club, with community participation encouraged from local groups, families, and businesses.&nbsp;
