The MWC July Bake Sale is held each year in conjunction with the Moultonborough Library’s annual book sale. Contact Nancy Slaney or Mary Anne Sopelak to help or tp bake!
MWC members: Nancy Slaney will be sending an email to let people know where you can drop off early if need be. Please label your baked item(s) and remember, no items that can melt or droop in the hot sun!
Chunky Knit Pillow Pouf Workshop
Tuesday, July 28th from 10 - Noon
We are very excited to share that The Cozy Company will be conducting a chunky knit pillow pouf workshop for the MWC on Tuesday, July 28th from 10 - Noon at the Moultonborough Public Safety Building (Fire/Police). The cost is $35 per person and that includes all materials. This pouf pillow workshop is beginner friendly.
This event is open to members and one guest. Please use the registration link below. All registrations must be submitted by July 24th to ensure the correct color and quantity of yarn is available.

Since 1786 our quaint little red cottage has graced the hills of southern New Hampshire, seemingly untouched by time. The enchanting cottage was chosen by Elizabeth Orton Jones as the model for her illustrations in Little Red Riding Hood (Little Golden Books, 1948). Today Pickity Place is a mecca for gardeners, foodies and anyone looking for inspiration and relaxation. Join the Ladies Thursday, July 30 for a fun day filled with friends and food! Lunch at a Members House. Ready to mix things up? Join our eighth Lucky Draw Lunch! Sign up for the chance to be one of ten ( five each house) lucky guests chosen for a lunch hosted by a fellow member.
Marie Mayotte and another member will be hosting. They will choose a fun theme and all you need to do is bring a dish to share! It’s a great way to meet new people and connect with friends. The luncheon will be held on Friday, August 21st at 11:30 AM. Email Mary Bishop for your chance to be paired with a host and other members for a fun luncheon.

Acrylic Painting Class at Bayview Artisan Gallery

Join gallery owner and artist Fabiana Walsh for a fun and inspiring painting class where you'll learn how to create beautiful birch tree landscapes using acrylic paints. Celebrate the natural beauty of New Hampshire in this relaxing and creative acrylic painting class focused on one of our region's most beloved trees—the graceful white birch. Birch trees are a defining feature of the New England landscape, admired for their striking white bark, elegant forms, and the way they stand beautifully against every season. Gallery owner and artist Fabiana Walsh will guide you step-by-step through the painting process, sharing techniques that help bring birch trees to life on canvas.
You'll learn how to:
• Create realistic birch bark with texture, highlights, and shadows
• Paint tree trunks with depth and dimension
• Blend colors to create natural backgrounds and seasonal landscapes
• Use layering techniques to achieve atmosphere and perspective
• Add details that make a painting feel uniquely New England

This is a Mini Hiking Group, not a Walking group. Mini hikes of 2-3 miles, with some low elevation, roots, rocks, leaves, snow, ice, etc. The duration will be approximately 2 hours depending on the trail, weather conditions (think snow), and speed of the hikers. Contact Lin Bastan for more details!
