Moultonborough Women's Club

Making Strides Walk for Breast Cancer

October 2019

Please volunteer to join our 2019 Moultonborough Women's Club Team to participate in the American Cancer Society 3-mile walk to raise awareness and funds to end Breast Cancer.  To walk, you must register yourself -- at

The "official name" of the walk is the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of the Greater Lakes Region, NH.    Our team name is "Moultonborough Women's Club."  We must have at least 10 ladies registered and raised $25 (or more) each in order to have our team name on our T-shirts.

Our MWC Team will walk on October 6, 2019.  We will gather to carpool in the back of Heath's parking lot near Home Comfort on that October Sunday morning at 9:00 to drive to Opechee Park located at 915 N. Main Street in Laconia.    (If you can’t walk on that day, please phone Nancy at her home that morning:  476-5056.)

You will use your Donation Collection Envelope to record your cash and check donations.  Ask everyone!  Perhaps you'll honor someone affected by Breast Cancer.  Checks are payable to American Cancer Society.  These filled Donation Collection Envelopes are due on September 9 at our MWC September meeting at Geneva Point.  Nancy McDonough will distribute and collect them.  I hope you can encourage your MWC friends to donate at the meeting! Those who collect $100 or over will receive T-shirts at the walk.  Please put your T-shirt size at the top of your Donation Collection Envelope.

We are once again championing our fabulous sparkling bra, Boobles, thanks to Sherry Weene.  You'll see sparkling, glowing Boobles at the September 10 and October 1 MWC meetings.

Thank you for being on the MWC team!

Everyone challenged by Breast Cancer appreciates your efforts!
